3 太白山游客的旅游行为模式
研究分析旅游者旅游行为的目的，就在于多样化的旅游行为中，以一种特征或几种特征为主导找出旅游者行为的规律及其影响因素。根据游客的旅游动机和主要目的的不同，将游客分为观光游览型、休闲度假型、商务旅游型、会议旅游型、考察研究型和医疗保健型等类型。从表1中看出，在这次抽样调查中，观光旅游型和休闲度假型游客所占比重很大，商务型游客排列第三。这同景区游客旅游目的的实际情况相符。同时，从调查结果也表明不同旅游目的的游客在行为上表现出的不同特征(表4)。

休闲度假型游客的旅游行为同观光型游客的旅游行为有很大的不同。旅游者多数来自经济发达的地区，在年龄构成上以中老年为主。旅游的灵活性较大，一般不参加团体包价游，在目的地停留时间较大，花费较大，对价格和服务质量相当敏感，且一般不与当地人交往。
太白山的休闲度假型游客以西安居多，还有周边的几个城市以及部分省外游客。他们主要是自助式或单位组织的旅游形式，年龄层次均属中老年。这种类型的游客旅游时间一般在三天以上，主要是自助式或单位组织的形式，他们同观光游览型游客相比，除了一些基本花费外，增加了用于娱乐消费的花费。景区的各个宾馆均有此类游客食宿，特别是一些中高级和有室内游泳池的宾馆、温泉疗养院等都是有利于休闲消遣之地。
3.3 商务、会议旅游型游客的行为模式
太白山的商务旅游者来源于全国各地，他们一般出手大方，买高档物品，过奢侈生活，花费相当大，包括食宿在内，均属豪华型。他们的旅游时间不固定，一般较短，但是却很频繁，即使在冬天，温泉也有很大诱惑力。由于其主要目的是进行商务活动，只与有商务关系的人交往，所以一般不关心旅游地。
会议旅游型游客主要是以参加会议为主要目的顺便而访的。参加会议旅游者由于逗留时间短，只游玩少数高级别旅游点，对食宿要求较高。太白山是国家AAAA级景区。每年在西安、杨凌、宝鸡等城市举行的各种会议，如东西部贸易洽谈会、中国农业博览会、太白山健身旅游登山节、法门寺国际旅游文化节、宝鸡招商引资洽谈会等以及周边城市的各种会议期间均有去太白山旅游的可能性。
3.4 太白山考察研究型游客的行为模式
考察研究型游客在抽样调查中数量不多，所占比重较小与其他类型相比排在第五位，其中有一个重要原因是与考察研究型游客的行为特征有关，因而调查数字比实际人数小的多。游客旅游时间一般较长，旅游消费以基本花费为主，食宿不讲究，对旅游地的评价了解的较深刻全面，特别注意与当地人交往，从而完成他们的考察工作。
3.5 太白山医疗保健型游客的行为模式
医疗保健型游客是为了保健医疗等相关目的而决定旅游的，这一目的一般与其他旅游目的相结合，从而激发游客的旅游动机。太白山有丰富的保健资源，吸引了许多医疗保健型游客，他们往往是以散客或数人结伴的旅游形式而游的，旅游时间与其他类型的游客相比较能稍长一些，旅游花费属最基本的消费，食宿尽量是找疗养院或有温泉的宾馆，与当地人交往不多。
虽然，太白山商务旅游、会议旅游和医疗保健等三种类型的游客或者是不典型的，或者是数量少，比例偏低，不是旅游地旅游服务的主体。但是这些类型的游客来自祖国各地甚至国外，包含各行各业，影响范围广，对旅游地的旅游整体形象有直接影响，对进一步发掘旅游资源的潜力具有不可忽视的作用。
